01Who provides Koma

Koma is provided by the independent developer Tit1e, referred to as “we” in these terms. “You” means the person using the software or purchasing a license. These terms cover the Koma macOS application, its official website, downloads, licensing service and support.

Read these terms before using Koma or buying a license. If you do not agree, do not install or use the software or place an order. If you act for an organization, you must have authority to accept terms on its behalf.

02Your permission to use the software

Koma is licensed, not sold. Subject to these terms, you may use the software and the features available under Free mode, an active Pro trial or your purchased license. Ownership of the software and its branding remains with the developer and other applicable rights holders.

A purchased license permits the number of active installations stated in your order. You can deactivate the current installation to release its slot. Contact support if a device is lost or a license key needs recovery. Keep your key private; do not publish, resell or use it to bypass installation limits.

Free mode remains available without a paid license. An advertised Pro trial has a shared end date shown in the app and on the website; it is not a separate trial period starting when each person installs the app.

03One-time purchase and activation

A Koma perpetual license is a one-time purchase and includes future updates to the Koma product line. Existing license holders are not charged a subscription, paid major-version upgrade or price difference because a later version or a higher price for new purchases is introduced. Your order records the price, installation allowance and update rights purchased.

A perpetual license does not mean the activation service is unnecessary. Initial Pro activation and periodic renewal of the local authorization credential require an internet connection. A valid local credential supports offline use within its validity and any applicable grace period. If authorization expires or cannot be validated after that period, Pro features may become unavailable until authorization is restored; local projects and Free features remain available.

Updates, compatibility and online service availability can be affected by operating-system changes, maintenance or circumstances outside our control. We do not promise that a particular feature, release date or third-party integration will be delivered.

04Prices and payment

Available plans, currency, final price, installation allowance and any offer deadline are shown on the pricing page and confirmed when you purchase. Time-limited offers may end, and prices for new orders may change. These changes do not reduce rights already purchased.

You can purchase through Waffo checkout or manual WeChat payment. For online checkout, select a plan on this website to open Waffo, then enter your email and payment details there. After server confirmation, we queue a license email to the address on your verified Waffo order. You can also collect the key in the original tab for 24 hours. Save your key securely and contact support if email or browser delivery fails. For manual WeChat purchases, confirm the plan with the developer and provide the transaction ID for verification. Payment processing is governed by the payment provider’s own terms. Koma does not receive your bank-card details or payment password.

05Refunds and purchase support

To request a refund, contact the developer through the WeChat conversation used for your purchase or the support email below. Include enough information to identify the order and explain the request. Refund requests are handled under the conditions confirmed at purchase and applicable law; these terms do not remove any mandatory cancellation, refund or consumer rights.

After a full refund, the license no longer permits new activations or authorization renewals. An existing offline credential ends according to its validity. Your local projects remain accessible, and you can continue recording, manually editing and exporting under Free-mode limits.

06Your recordings and files

You retain your rights in recordings, project files, imported media and exported videos. Using Koma does not transfer ownership of that content to us.

Only record, edit and share material when you have the rights, permissions and any legally required consent to do so. This includes other people’s voices, images, personal information, confidential material and copyrighted works. Review the result before sharing it, including any captions, automated edits or obscured areas.

You are responsible for keeping backups. Koma’s project storage and recovery features are not a backup service, and we do not hold a server copy of your recordings that can be restored for you.

07Acceptable use

Do not use Koma to violate the law or another person’s rights, bypass licensing controls, distribute malicious software, or interfere with the website or licensing service. Do not redistribute the application as your own product. Restrictions on copying or reverse engineering apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law; rights granted by third-party open-source licenses remain unchanged.

We may restrict access to the licensing service when reasonably necessary to address fraud, an invalid or refunded license, a security threat or a material breach of these terms. Contact support if you believe a restriction is incorrect. A service restriction does not give us the right to take ownership of or remotely delete your local projects.

08System requirements and external tools

Check the current download page for supported macOS versions, hardware and installation requirements. Grant system permissions only for the capture features you choose to use. Test your recording and export setup before relying on it for important work.

Optional AI-assisted workflows use external agents or transcription tools that you choose and configure. Those services may have separate accounts, charges, terms and privacy policies. Koma does not control their availability, their outputs or how they handle information you allow them to access. Review generated edit plans and exported results before accepting or sharing them.

09Availability and responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Koma is provided as available, without a promise that it will be error-free, uninterrupted or suitable for every purpose. Recording, editing and export can fail because of hardware, storage, permissions, system changes or software errors.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profit, arising from use of Koma or events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer guarantees and applicable liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

10Changes, ending use and disputes

You may stop using Koma at any time. Uninstalling the app does not itself request a refund, deactivate an installation or delete purchase records. Use the app’s deactivation control or contact support when you need help releasing a slot.

We may update these terms to reflect product, service or legal changes and will show the revision date on this page. Material changes will be brought to your attention as required by applicable law, and consent will be requested where required. Changes will not retroactively reduce the permanent rights recorded in an existing purchase.

Please contact us first if a dispute arises. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or remove access to the courts, regulators or other remedies available under applicable law. If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. Personal-data handling is described in the Privacy Policy.
